Why is the wheres my refund site saying my taxes were accepted and are being processed?

    Was your return recently "Accepted" by the IRS? It's possible, processing started quickly. Continue checking the IRS Where’s My Federal Refund? site for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight. You may also download the IRS2Go app to check your Federal refund status.

    My return got accepted. What happens next?
