I got accepted on the 10th an still waiting an i see other people getting a due date an they were accepted after the 12th do the i.r.s have a chart with the dates on it an what was the purpose of getting accepted early can someone explain.

    There are charts out there, but they are not official. The IRS does not process on a First In First Out basis. 

    Unfortunately, some taxpayers rush to file and then get more W-2, 1099, etc. forms afterwards. That requires doing an amended return, filing it by mail, and then waiting a long time (sometimes months) for a refund.

     

    But the main reason to file early is to head off any Identity Thieves from filing a return in your name.
