Refund before the weekend

Hi I just received my 846 code with a date of 2/24. I did not pay for the 5 days early because I did the advance instead however, I was wondering is it possible that we receive the refund on Friday instead of Monday? Or is Monday set in stone?

Depending on your bank you might receive your refund earlier. It's totally up to the bank's discretion. For example, some credit union banks do issue refunds 2-3 days earlier, the same way as they do with paychecks.

Keep in mind that this is up to the bank. For any issues with your refund where you might have to contact the IRS, you should keep the February 24 date.
