Refund is short

Federal refund was accepted/approved for $1355. Received a deposit in my acct from Togo; which I know now is a 3rd party that the payment goes through. Amount deposited was $644.13; I understand there was a $128 service fee. That still leaves $582.87 missing from my refund.

Turbo tax cannot provide any information because the payment is sent through the 3rd party. I’ve been on hold for over an hour waiting in someone at tpg to explain to me. I did log into their website. It shows my federal return is $1355, the service fee, and the deposit. Does not show or explain any further fees.

 Anyone have any information?

The IRS and State Governments have the ability to offset a refund to pay for certain past due debts.  You generally will receive a letter stating what the offset was for.

The IRS provides a toll-free number, (800) 304-3107, to call for information about tax offsets.

There has been no offset; I owe no outstanding debts.

Federal shows refund amount of $1355. Turbo tax shows my refund is $1355. My money is missing due to tpg; the 3rd party that turbo tax is using.

still in hold waiting for answers. Also emailed and no response from that either
