Using someone else's bank account for your tax refund is not a good idea.   If your name is not on the bank account or card, the refund will most likely be refused by the bank and sent back to the IRS.  Then the IRS has to issue a paper check and mail it to the address on your tax return.    If you chose to pay your TurboTax fees from your federal refund it becomes even more complex, because now a third party bank is involved and the refund will go back to that bank.  That bank might send you a check or they might send the refund back to the IRS.   All of those complications mean a considerable delay for you to receive your refund.
