Refunds 10-12 weeks later! Why??

I filed my taxes thru Intuit Tirbo Tax, Anna I was always very good with math, so I was very bummed when I got a letter saying they’re holding them for 60 more days to go over them! 😞

Any idea the eta I’ll get State it Faderal back?? Please??

Sorry----sometimes returns are put under review randomly and sometimes they are put under review because of some problem--TurboTax does not get any information from the IRS after your return has been filed and accepted. TT cannot speed the IRS up for you or intercede in any way. If the IRS asks you for any additional information provide it to them ASAP.

Your state refund is separate from your federal refund.

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities, There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.
