We did not e-file in 2019.  I checked and the AGI matches our 2019 return.   When I e-filed yesterday Turbotax pulled in the PIN number from our 2018 e-file.  Since my AGI is correct is the problem the 2018 PIN numbers.  If yes, should I remove the PINs from my 2020 return and then resubmit?

I have the exact same issue.  Turbo Tax either needs to reframe their question - Did you file a return in 2019?  If yes, electronically or by mail?  Or instead of "Did you file a return in 2019?", DID YOU E-FILE YOUR RETURN IN 2019?

I am very frustrated.  Will most likely be easiest to print and file by mail.  However, they should be able to fix this problem......

@cholley78 Yes, please remove the e-filing PIN. The IRS has discontinued the e-filing PIN option. To verify your identity for e-filing, you’ll need to use last year’s adjusted gross income (AGI). The e-filing PIN isn’t the same thing as the Self Select PIN or the IP PIN.
