Rejected return-now have to mail

On my daughters taxes by accident "someone can claim me as a dependent" was not marked. I have claimed her as a dependent all her life. When I filed my taxes, it was rejected. I had no idea why and somehow that was not marked when we are 100% sure we did, but maybe a glitch? Anyways, I have to amend her return when it becomes available and now I have to mail mine. Do I have to wait until her amendment is fully processed before I can mail mine or if they receive mine in the mail before her amendment is processed will mine be rejected again? Any information will be helpful.

I would recommend letting your daughter's amendment process before mailing in your return. Otherwise, your return will get snagged up at the IRS because they will have to send you correspondence regarding your daughter already being claimed.
