Rejection due to incorrect spouse AGI

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 30 years with no issues. This year, when I tried to eFile, the return was rejected due to the Spouse AGI being incorrect. We have always filed a joint return. Her AGI is the same as mine and was auto filled by Turbo Tax and it matched my copy from last year. I also downloaded from the IRS last year's data and it matches. We did not file late, we didn't amend last years return, Should we be worried that someone used her SSN to file a fraudulent tax return using her SSN and that's why the AGI doesn't match?

Seeing a lot of this from the IRS this year.

Try entering a 0 (zero) for your spouse's 2020 AGI and e-file again.

If this is also rejected then enter a 0 for both of you and e-file again.

Thanks, I had tried the 0 for her but that didn't work so I gave up and mailed in the return. I wonder if this in only happening to people getting a refund? Might be a ploy by the government to keep my money as long as possible! Can't wait for that conspiracy theory to go viral.

No this is the mysterious AGI mismatch problem which has been going on with TurboTax for many years.

They refuse to admit that there is a problem.
