Return was accepted Jan 22nd but still not approved Feb 1st. Did i mess up? I was eligible for the eic credit, so that could be it, but why was it not approved yet?

When I check where's my refund, there are no warnings or anything, however there is a tax 152 link to click on that states what might delay a tax return and the eic credit is mentioned.

Approval can take 21 days, per the IRS.

If you have EIC or ACTC, you won't receivevabd approval until mid Feb. your DDD will take place towards end of Feb. It's a law to protect you from fraud and to make sure no one else cab claim EIC.
