I received a revised 1099-B for 2022 which increases my cost basis and as a result increases my capital loss carryforward.  There is no effect on my 2022 taxes.  Do I need to file an amended return?

You are not required to file an amendment if the corrected form does not change your refund amount or the amount you owe.

You should to avoid issues when the IRS compares 2022 c/f on the 2023 return to the reported c/f on the return fron 2022.

Thanks for the response.  But it will impact my taxes going forward.  Does that matter?

As long as you use correct figures when preparing your 2023 tax return, you should not have any issues.   Keep the corrected form with your records in the event of an inquiry.
