Why did this firm take out $40 just to pay for Audit Defense at a cost of $60? I never gave anyone permission to charge me additional for this?

If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the $40 service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the $40 service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.

Show me where it says that getting Audit Defense is "Tax preparing fees" and that more than the $60 for this will be taken out. I could have paid for the AD with card, but thought this was easier. BIG TIME SCAM!!!! If it said this somewhere it was not in a straight-forward forthcoming way!! Why would anyone pay $100 for a $60 service.
