SBTPG sending back my tax refund to IRS. When IRS will receive, and send me a paper check.

The amount of 2844$ was sent to SBTPG from the IRS.
SBTPG were not able to make a direct deposit due to a closed bank account. SBTPG are saying that the amount without TurboTax fees were sent back to the IRS.

When can I expect the IRS to receive the money sent by SBTPG, and are the IRS aware that they need to send me the new amount as a paper check to my home address?

If yes, how much time will this cost?

All answers will be appreciated!

If you entered wrong or closed bank account information, your refund had to be sent back---so first it went to the third party bank and now the third party bank has sent it back to the IRS. It will likely take at least several weeks for the IRS to issue and mail you a check. Make sure the mailing address on your tax return is the right address. Watch your mailbox and open all mail even if it looks like junk mail.

The third-party bank took 4 weeks to process the payment to the IRS.
Do you know how long it will take for the IRS to receive it and send a paper check to my home address?

Only the IRS is in control. We cannot predict how long it will take the IRS to issue and mail your check. Typically it takes a few weeks. No one in this user forum can give you a date. You can call the IRS if you want to get information from them.

Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.

Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
Then press 3 for all other inquiries
It should then transfer you to an agent.
