Hi, so on January 4th irs.gov stated I would receive it via direct deposit and listed the same account info as my first stimulus did in April 15th showing the last 4 of my social after my b starred 12 digit account number. Then changed on January 5th to “Unavailable”  On my 1040 it shows my routing and account number that is connected to my green dot turbo card. I currently still use this card so it’s an active account. I haven’t received my second stimulus yet and I had to just change my email I use for turbo today because I can’t log into the old one. Can anyone help me?

On Friday we had the following announcement:

We are happy to share that stimulus payments will begin to be deposited on January 8th for millions of our customers affected by the IRS error.  We expect most of these payments to be available that day, but banks could take a few business days to process. Payment will be deposited into the same bank account that customers received their 2019 tax refund.

Customers receiving a stimulus payment will receive an email from TurboTax letting them know their stimulus payment is on the way.We have been working tirelessly with the Treasury and IRS to get stimulus payments to our customers.  We know how important these funds are for so many Americans and we regret that an IRS error caused a delay.

Please note the following page for additional information:  Why Haven’t I Received My Second Stimulus Check?

In your case, if your first stimulus payment went to your Green Dot Card, your second payment should also deposit there.  Please note this website for additional information and customer service:  Access Your Stimulus Payment on Your Turbo® Card | TurboTax®

Given that it may take a couple of business days to reflect in the account, you may not yet see it reflected in yours.  The same is true with the IRS website:  it may take a day or two to reflect this change.  But it is being processed and should be there soon.

We do appreciate that many of our customers depend on having these funds available, and we are working diligently to make this happen.
