Question

Should I amend my taxes because I wasn't claimed as a dependent?

I put that I could be claimed as a dependent and was going to be claimed, but my parents actually didn't claim me. Should I amend this and change it to say I am not going to be claimed? I'm concerned about whether or not I will be getting a stimulus check because of this mistake.

Yes, you will want to amend in order to claim the stimulus check. Please see these sites for updates:
