Question

Should I amend my taxes if I didn’t qualify for the California earned income tax credit and the young child tax credit before the added the 10,200 adjustment but now will

My agi before the adjustment was barely above 30,000 now after it’ll be around 20,000 making me eligible for the California earned income tax credit and the young child tax credit that I didn’t get before when I filed, also it raises my original earned income tax credit and additional child tax credit amounts to where the difference is almost 3,000$ so I don’t know if the irs will fix all of that or if I should amend.

when the UCE has other effects like you describe, IRS won't handle it.

You have to  file an amended return.

This is probably the case for a state return also.
