Should I be concerned that the IRS says they did not receive my 2017 taxes which i filed thru here? I printed my docs for 2017, why didnt they receive? is this common?

We cannot see why the IRS did not receive your 2017 return; we have no access to your account or to the tax return.  What does it say in your account for that tax year?  Does it say "accepted", "rejected", "printed" or "ready to mail?"  If it says anything other than "accepted" then it was not filed.  Only you can file your tax return by going to the big orange button that says "Transmit my returns now."  If you missed doing that, or if the return was rejected and you did not follow up and fix it or mail it, then it was not filed.

If you owed tax due for 2017, your only proof of payment would be your own bank/credit card records.  TurboTax never knows if, how, or when you pay tax you owed.

You can still file the 2017 return.  It cannot be e-filed.  E-filing is closed for 2017 returns.  The only way to file it is to print it, sign it and date it in ink and mail it in.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

If you are getting a refund, there is not a penalty for filing past the deadline.  If you owe taxes, the interest/penalties will be calculated by the IRS based on how much you owe and when they receive your return and payment. The IRS will bill you for this; it will not be calculated by TurboTax.
