Should I be worried if I was sent two different prepaid cards in the mail?

No, you shouldn't worry. Some others also received multiple cards. You will just need to contact GreenDot, verify your identity, and provide your GreenDot account number. If you are unsure of where to find your GreenDot account number, please see below for where to find that.
And using your information, GreenDot will be able to determine which card will have your IRS refund deposited onto it. You will be able to discard the remaining card(s).
Your GreenDot account number can be located in one of three places:
- On the Filing Instructions (Page 1 of 1) of your TurboTax tax return OR;
- In the Refund section at the bottom of page 1 on your IRS 1040EZ OR;
- In the Refund section at the bottom of page 2 on your IRS 1040 or 1040A forms
