Should I have had to pay more money for TurboTax Deluxe to amend my 2020 tax return? I paid for TurboTax Plus at the time I originally filed and thought that was included

I thought TurboTax Plus included being able to amend tax returns without additional costs.

What is your reason for amending? It might require an upgrade if additional forms or schedules are needed.

I had to add my 1098-E form, I received it after I had already filed. When I amended my tax return it cost another $29 for the federal amendment and $49 for state amendment! I didn't think I would have to pay more since I had already paid $30 originally for TurboTax Plus when I first filed. I've never had to amend before and wasn't sure if that is normal or not?
