Should I send in an amended return after receiving an updated SSA-1099. I already e-filing my taxes? There is no difference in refunds or taxes owed.

It depends.  If you are expecting a refund, you can wait until you receive it to prevent its delay.  Not knowing what has changed on your SSA-1099, it is difficult to say for any certainty is you should file an amendment or not.  Please see a section of the IRS Tax Topic 308 - Amended Return attached on reasons to file an amendment.  You can read the entire article here.  If you will need to amend your return you can use Turbo Tax to do so.  Please see that link below
