Since my tax return was sent to me via direct deposit but turbo tax banking information was given to the irs how will that affect my stimulus check without my direct deposit info?

We are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding the direct deposit information for the stimulus payments. We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.

If the IRS does not use the same means for the stimulus check as for the tax refund, then they will mail the check to the address on the 2018 or 2019 tax return.
