The IRS is going to give taxpayers the chance to enter their own banking information.

The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do?

In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.

I have a hard time getting checks cashed and prefer only direct deposit but the account that I filed taxes with has been closed

Hello,

I had a baby in 2019. I recently filed for my taxes, but they already sent us our stimulus checks. How do I go about receiving that portion of money for my dependent?

Thanks

You will receive the stimulus payment for your son when you file the 2020 tax return next year.
