@25de5f1fa421 Darn it.   Well......now you wait.   You cannot fix this yet.  Wait until the original return has been fully processed.   Then you can amend to add that other W-2.   If any other tax documents drift in while you are waiting.....do nothing with them until you are ready to amend later next month.

For future reference, You have to enter all of your income from W-2's or any other income sources on only ONE tax return.

You will have to wait for the IRS to either Accept or Reject your filed federal tax return.
If the return is rejected you can make the necessary changes and e-file again.
If the return is accepted you will have to amend your original tax return. An amended return, Form 1040-X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS if the original tax return was not e-filed. The IRS will take up to 20 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return.

Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-change-correct-return-already-filed/L4VjJ9BA2_US_en_US?uid=ld1n99kr

You cannot file separate tax returns for each W-2 you get.    If you are lucky your "pending" original return will be rejected and you can fix it and re-file with all of your income on the same return.

If you are not lucky enough for the first return to be rejected-------

Your second tax return IS just going to be rejected.   ALL of your income was supposed to go on the same tax return.  Next year-----wait for all of your W-2's and do not file until you have them all.

If you can...delete the  new W-2 you put there.  You are going to have to amend your original tax return when the IRS finishes processing it, and you have to be able to work from it exactly as it looked when you sent in the original tax return.

You cannot amend yet.  You will need a special form called a 1040X that will be available in late February.

Post back here when you see if the first return was accepted or rejected and we will help further.
