Somehow I must have marked military when we are not and now it’s requesting a federal service date that I can’t remove

How do you remove military

To correct your military entry, follow these steps in TurboTax:

Click My Info on the left side panel
Click Edit beside your name
Update selection under "I am a member or former member of the U.S. Armed Forces (active, reserve, or National Guard)."

If you are married and filing jointly, you will also wandouble-checkcheck your spouse's selection.
