Ss number is wrong on my w2 how do i fix it to file my taxes?

If your SSN is wrong on your form W-2, you have to ask your employer to correct it and issue you a corrected W-2 form (called W-2c).

If for any reason your employer does not correct your form W-2, you can call the IRS and they can help by calling your employer.
