I filed both my returns Feb 19, 2022. That day I received two emails stating that both my state and federal returns were accepted. I went to the IRS website to check the status of my returns and it told me, under the information I entered (social security number, filing date, and my return amount) it told me that the return had reached my bank account. Great! But when I checked, using the same information entered above) it told me that they were unable to give me the status of my return. They are making it appear as though they never received my return from TurboTax. I called TurboTax, the automation was no help and hung up on me. I then tried calling the IRS and they told me the same thing that the website told me, based on my information they could not give me information about my return. Why is this happening?

    To clarify, it is your state tax refund that you are unable to obtain information for?  If so, you can track the status of your state return by following the steps in this help article: How do I track my state refund?
