State tax penalty for turbo tax error Two years in a row. Can not find a way to speak with someone at TurboTax

The last two years, I’ve gotten a penalty and interest fine from the state of SC filed via TurboTax For 2015 and 2016.  There is an error that TurboTax will just plug in the data from federal return but I have rental property in another state so I can’t claim that only state taxes in SC.  I’ve gotten a penalty and interest of over $400.00 including the difference in taxes I OWE (so I get hit with a bill from SC) TurboTax needs to correct this.  I’ve tried to reach out multiple times via phone and support chat only to be disconnected or that my issue can’t be resolved by the system.  I just wanted to speak with a real person to address this issue.

Please click this TurboTax Help link How do I submit a claim under the TurboTax 100% Accurate Calculation Guarantee or 100% Accurate, Expert Approved Guarantee?  to learn more.

Before you submit your claim, make sure that:

    • You received an assessment notice regarding a tax return that shows the penalties and/or interests you owe.
    • Your contact information is current.
    • You filed an amended return after we fixed the error if we asked you to do so. (Don't worry about this part if you didn't receive these instructions from us).
    • For the 100% Accurate Calculations Guarantee:
    • You double-checked your entries and you believe you entered them correctly.
    • If you used a CD/download version of TurboTax, you registered your software and your program is up-to-date
