State taxes

I just filled my taxes and it made me select a date to pay my state taxes. Once I did that and finished filling, it said that my state tax is coming out of my federal refund. So I need to know if I'm going to be paying my state taxes out of my own money that's in my account right now and also have the state taxes come out of my federal refund. That's $300 that i will be losing.

Rest assured, you will not be charged twice for your state taxes owed.

It sounds as if you chose direct debit to pay your state taxes.  In this case, the funds will debit from your bank account on the day you specified.  TurboTax does not allow you to pay your state taxes from your federal refund.  Refer to the following FAQ for more information:  Can I pay my state taxes from my federal refund? - Community
