Stimulus check: Added bank account and got an update this morning...

"Your check will be mailed on April 24th."

Well maybe I don't feel so bad that I can't get into that "Get My Payment" site ☹

you are actually better off. I read that all those that added their DD to the website by April 24th will receive their payment via DD by May 1.

but they had to establish a cut off somewhere because the paper checks are beginning the week of April 24th.

So you are actually expected to get it quicker by paper because you are in the 1st wave of paper checks.

The IRS is really good at their checks arriving exactly 14 days from the date mailed. And "by May 1st" = the 27th or 29th in IRS speak.
