Tax Return

My tax return says it was accepted 2-16-21 but on my tax transcript it says they have no return on file for this year. IRS website said it was processing but they’re behind on the website to even be accurate. I can’t get through to anyone from IRS, what do I do?

You are correct, the IRS is delayed due to all of the changes taking place and trying to make the best decisions for what must be done, as well as being provide the direction they must have.

 

If you received confirmation your return was accepted, for now you will have to trust that.  It's a very rare circumstance it would be an error.  It just doesn't happen in my experience.
