Tax return but bank account closed and i moved

Hi. Irs app says the bank received my taxes on July 8th but my account was closed June 26th and they say they never got it. I know I should receive a check in the mail but I don't live at the address for it anymore. The irs phone number doesn't let me speak to anyone it just says call the next business day and I do starting 5 minutes befor they open  it doesn't matter what I select I want to talk about it always says we aren't accepting cas for that.  Call tomorrow

    You cannot change your address by phoning  the IRS.    You can send a change of address to the IRS by mail:

    But make sure the post office is forwarding mail to you from your old address, too.

    I would start by checking your account transcript and the “where’s my refund” website to see if you can find a date when the check was mailed.

    If a check was mailed and it was never forwarded by the Postal Service, you will have to use the Trace procedure.
