We just received a letter from the IRS stating that they have adjusted our 1040 and that we owe them an additional $1,114.

Do you know why this was done?

The letter should say what they changed that would have increased taxes owed. What did the letter say?

TurboTax does not get any information about your tax return after you file it. No one at TT knows about your letter. Read it carefully to see why they say you owe. If you still do not understand then post back with some details—but no personal information.
