Yes, that is the way for IRS to get your banking information. This is how you can get IRS to send you a stimulus check directly to your bank account. Federal tax payments have been deferred, interest and penalty free, until July 15. This deferment also applies to tax year 2020 estimated tax payments previously due on April, 15, 2020.
