I created a file for a disabled member of my family on Turbo Tax Download 2023. After I determined that we did not need to file for the individual I deleted the data files.
Everything is working fine. Question: Since I did not file, do I have 4 free filings still on my package?

User said they did not efile it. From what I gathered, it turned out to be an experimental return that they deleted without efiling.
@BigTegan , or did you already efile another return for someone else? If so, you didn't mention it. So I'll assume you still have 5.
So unless you efiled another return that you haven't mentioned, you should still have 5 Federal efiles left, since you did not use one. In the desktop version, one can create as many Federal returns as wanted, but can only efile 5 Federal returns. If you need to file more than 5 Federal returns, the additional ones can be printed and mailed. A lot of people experiment with test returns that are never filed.
BigTegan, you didn't mention a state return, but be aware in the desktop version there is a $25 fee to efile each state return (except no state efile fee for NY state.) There is no fee to print and mail the state returns.
