Question

The IRS direct deposited my refund 10 days ago but I haven't received anything. I did choose to pay my Turbotax fees through deducting it from my return.

 did choose to pay my Turbotax fees through deducting it from my return. Is this causing the delay and how can I check the status of my return?

If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.

For the status of your tax refund you will need to contact the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group, using their website - https://www.sbtpg.com/

When I track my refund through TPG it only shows me the federal refund amount which have been credited but not the state refund which didn’t get deposited at my account yet. How could I track my state (PA) refund?

@mohamedtag

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities,  There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.

STATE RETURN

Make sure your state return was accepted:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
