Question

The IRS has not recognized receipt of my mailed in return, i mailed in my return on april 9th. i want to make sure they got it.

The IRS does not acknowledge mail. If you are getting a refund then the check the refund website but give it 2-3 months to show up for a mailed return since COVID is slowing up mailed return processing.

You should always mail certified with return receipt (or use another mail tracking service) since that is your ONLY proof that the IRS received it.
