The IRS hasn't responded to my return should I be worried

Was your tax return accepted? If so, this means the IRS has received and is processing it. You can check your e-file status here. Also, most tax filers( 9 out of 10) usually receive their refund within 21 days after acceptance, but due to the passage of the PATH act, some tax filers will experience a delay. According to the IRS, EITC/ACTC recipients can expect funds by the first week of March if they chose direct deposit and there are no issues with their tax return.
