The IRS sent funds on the 27th to the bank . Why are they not being released by TurboTax/green dot bank

Very disappointed with TurboTax this year. To the point of telling TurboTax to just keep the funds and never use them again. I think we've all been waiting long enough. IRS track my refund has funds sent on the 27th. I will save my fees next year. Very very upset

It can take your bank or the card issuer 1-5 days to credit the deposit.  If you are having TT fees deducted from your Federal refund, this can add a day or so. (You can avoid this, as well as the extra charge, by paying the fees with a debit or credit card.)

More generally, the IRS issued a slew of refunds on Wednesday, Feb 27.  It's likely that banks (including the one that takes out TT fees) are dealing with a large quantity of incoming deposits in their pipelines.  This can result in delays.

TT does not receive tax refunds, and is not notified when refunds are issued.
