This is NOT acceptable. My return was accepted by the IRS on 02/08 and refund status never changed after 21 days. I called the IRS and was promised it would be refunded no later than the first week

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

You can bet Turbo tax Intuit or Green Dot WHOMEVER is in control of this card has your money! It hasn’t posted! For those of us who’s money has posted WE NEVER GOT A CARD! It’s all a scam and scary as hell. I’ve had 7000.00 on a “ card” that was deposited by the IRS ON 2/23 but NEVER RECEIVED A CARD! I’ve re ordered their card and was Supposed to get in 7 days but it’s been 6 days and according to their website it’s still being “printed”! It’s a SCAM! I’ve contacted IRS The Maryland state revenue and an Atty. They’ve been doing this for the past few years and getting away with it. Just with holding customers refunds for several months with no access to your own money! I’m sorry you’re also going through this !
