ive waited for several hours on the phone with the IRS. They have sent me my whole refund and TPG is holding $1,400 of mine. Where is my refund??

The amount of $1,400 is the exact amount of the Recovery Rebate Credit that would have been entered on your Federal tax return Form 1040 Line 30 if you indicated that you did Not receive the 3rd stimulus payment in 2021.

Go to the federal tax refund website and verify that the amount sent is exactly as shown on your federal tax return Form 1040 Line 34 - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

If it shows that the refund sent is less by $1,400 then the IRS removed the credit from your tax return because they have records which show that the 3rd stimulus payment was sent to you.

If you checked your bank account in the March - May 2021 timeframe and there is not a $1,400 EIP3 payment from the IRS then go to this IRS website for how to start a trace on the payment - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/questions-and-answers-about-the-third-economic-impact-payment-topic-j-p...
