Track Filing and Refund Status in Turbo Tax and on IRS site is incorrect 2021

I filed my taxes with Turbo Tax and received notice that my return was "Accepted" by the IRS over 21 days ago, electronically. I have already received my state refund. My fed return still has not been processed. Turbo tax says to keep checking IRS website. IRS website says that if no return status over 21 days to call them at the 800-829-1040 number. I called that number, and it says to check the website. Its an endless loop without being able to speak to an operator. When I call local IRS office, their message also says it is only automated and no way to report a problem.

Where do I call if it looks like there is a problem with the process and I had not claimed any special tax credits?

You will just have to be patient and wait, checking the IRS website at least once a day.

If there is an issue with your tax return the IRS will send you a letter.

Thanks...yes that is the link I have been checking and that phone number....the phone number just refers back to the link. there is no difference in the info, even though the website says to call the number for diff info. --JGB

It can be difficult to get through to the IRS at this time via phone as call volume is extremely high. As DoninGA mentioned above, if there is an issue, the IRS will undoubtedly send you applicable correspondence.
