I filed my taxes on Jan 27 accepted the same day, I went to look at my IRS transcript and it doesn't have a record of me filing.  My status still shows received and still processing, haven't received a letter either. I did claim the child care and earned income, what's the delay??? Why can't I see anything on my transcript??? Help

The FAQ below provides some of the different reasons for there being no record of your return on irs.gov:

Your return could also just still be processing due to the EIC and child care credits; either way, you may feel free to contact the IRS with the information provided here: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/refund-status/help/what-if-my-irs-refund-is-taking-longer-than-21-days/00/26080

Call the IRS, I was experiencing the same issue you were and turns out I was missing a form on my tax return. I never received the letter they claimed they sent me, so I would have had no idea if I hadn't called.

I hour later I got a hold of someone and they said my return will most likely not be processed completely til March 26 at the latest bc of an error that was found but couldn't tell me the error 😑
