Turbo tax calculated my Michigan tax refund at $819. I just checked the Michigan state "Where's My Refund" portal and they have me scheduled to receive $573. Why?

No one at TurboTax will know why the state has reduced your refund. No one at TT gets any information from the state after you file your tax return. Perhaps you owe back tax or child support in Michigan and they are taking it from your refund, or they found some sort of mistake and corrected it. They will send you a letter that explains why they reduced your refund.
