Question

Turbo tax calculated my recovery tax rebate wrong and I submitted my taxes. Will my taxes be delayed or will the IRS fix it?

I added another dependent that I did not claim last year and I guess they calculated it with him.

Why do you think it was wrong if the new dependent was counted and it put the stimulus on for that dependent?  The stimulus money is based on your 2020 tax return and on the dependents under age 17 that  you claim on your 2020 return,

Me son was claimed by someone else last year and they received the stimulus for him. So turbo tax I’m guessing thought that i did not receive the stimulus and added it for him. I just want to know do I need to amend or we’ll the IRS catch it?

Claim your son on your 2020 tax return if you are the custodial parent and use the recovery rebate credit to get the stimulus money for him.   What someone else did last year is irrelevant to your own 2020 tax return.
