Turbo tax fees

So I selected to have my fees taken out of my return. I checked today and noticed my fees have been paid. My Question is since my fees are paid does that mean I’ll get a refund soon even tho my transcripts and wmr haven’t updated?

Maybe. TT does not receive your tax refund. It goes directly from the IRS to a third party bank to have the TT fees deducted before the balance is forwarded to you. This can add a day or so.

However, when you signed up for Pay with Refund, you agreed to let TT takes its fees if your refund was delayed beyond a certain point, so that may be what happened. But TT notifies you first.

Check the IRS website to see if your refund has actually been issued.

TT hasn’t notified me yet and it has been going on 2 months since I filed and no refund...so hopefully /praying that maybe this is just a sign that my refund is coming soon 😕😕.... thank you!
