Turbo Tax has been completely incompetent and misleading about my tax return.

Filed my taxes on Feb 4.  The irs my refund app stated that the money was sent on 2/20/2025.  I spoke with an IRS agent on 2/26/2025 that informed me that the return was deposited on 2/20 to Crossriver Bank.  Crossriver Bank is the bank for intuit turbo tax.  I've spoken with 2 different agents and 3 different lead agents at turbo tax.  The first agent that I called on 2/26/2025 told me that they had the return and it would be sent to my bank at the end of business on 2/26/2025.  It was not.  I spoke to another lead tech that said the return was sent to Credit Karma in my credit karma money account.  I don't have a money account with Credit Karma.  I spoke with Credit Karma and they informed me that they never received any money because I don't have a money account with them.  I spoke with another supervisor afterwards, that told me that I would have to speak with the IRS again because they've never received a return.  I called the IRS agent again, and re-stated that the money was sent to Crossriver Bank on 2/20/2025 and gave me the rounting # that they sent it to.  I've been given the run around and they've sent me on two dead end paths to the solution.  I have the account # that the return was sent to on the 20th, but turbo tax won't even acknowledge that they received the return.

    Did you have your fees taken out of your Refund? If so, that is why your refund went to Cross River Bank. They should remove your fees and forward the remaining amount of your refund to the method you chose to receive your refund. If you selected direct deposit and for whatever reason the deposit was not able to be completed, then you will receive a check in the mail from Intuit.

     

    I would guess your check was mailed and if that happened on the 20th, I would expect you would receive it in the mail soon.

    I understand the process.   Your explanation doesn't justify my return sitting at your bank for 5 business days to get your fees, which still hasn't been completed.  It also doesn't explain why your lead agent told me the funds were routed to a non-existent Credit Karma account.  Your explanation doesn't justify a supervisor telling me that turbo tax hasn't received the funds and I need to contact the IRS again.  My state tax refund was sent to my bank account.  Why would turbo tax mail me a check, when I requested direct deposit.  Again, wholly incompetent.

    Same except they sent me a check from turbo tax deposited into my checking account and it bounced from cross river bank

    I just filed my tax return and was given the option of deducting the fee from my refund. The fine print said that I might have to pay a bank fee for this service. The fee was FORTY BUCKS! I said "No thank you, just deposit it into my account." TT, however, was not deterred and made me another offer to get the refund within five days. Again, they charged THIRTY FIVE BUCKS for this minor convenience. If I had gone for both I would have been charged SEVENTY FIVE BUCKS!! I opted for the direct deposit and having read your experience I am glad that I did.

    The exactly same thing happened to me. On the same date, IRS told me they deposited my money on 02/20/2025 on CrossRiver Bank,I never received the money, or any help from TurboTax.

    Please call Intuit directly at 800-335-9612.   A dedicated team is handling this.

    I've Called Turbo Tax 3 times already, nobody was capable of solving my problem. They keep sending me information from Cross River Bank, where my money was deposited, and Cross River bank does nothing. I'm really frustrated. I just want my money. It's been over a month now.

    i am having the same issue but they said they sent me a paper check feb 19 i filed feb 7 n mixed up my account # i have spoken to so many reps i couldn't even  give estimate  and i still have gotten no where still no check and its been 4 months i swear never using turbotax again

    they have been doing this for 3 months ive talk to irs turbo tax san barb bank back to turbo tax supervisors n everything just comes down to cross river but jo one will give me there number let alone let me make a complaint im so lost as of wat to do they keep saying they issued a check but i still have yet to get it
