Question

Turbo Tax is withdrawing our federal tax payment out of our checking account twice.

My federal return wasn't accepted.  I needed to change a couple of things.   While doing so, I also changed the manner in which I wanted to pay to avoid the credit card fee.   Now they're sucking the money out twice.  I need one of the payments credited back to my account.

If the IRS has witdrawn your payment twice, you will need to contact them to correct this.
