I said no to the offer for premier, but I still go charged for it. How do I check that I needed premier? I want a refund if I did not need premier

In Online TurboTax, here are some common things that can require an upgrade from Deluxe to Premier:

Schedule D (capital gains/losses from sales of stock/bonds/mutual funds, etc.)

Schedule E (rentals/royalties)

A K-1 you need to enter.

A full list of forms that Online Premier prepares that Online Deluxe cannot can be seen at this link.   Scroll way down to the page to a table comparing forms available in each edition.

If you are referring to Premium Services, in California, if you choose to pay any TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund, that service is bundled with Premium Services. You can remove the Premium Services and then choose to pay the TurboTax fees upfront using a credit or debit card.

To remove Premium Services, please see this TurboTax Help article:  How do I remove Premium Services?
