Turbotax asks for $45 premium service fee to file my fed return,

My desktop deluxe came w free fed e-filing. What is going on? I was expecting to pay for my CA State e-filing.

That is the fee to have the CA state efile fee deducted from your federal refund. Go back through the File tab Slowly and watch what you click on. I don’t know how it shows this year but in prior years it was easy to click on the wrong box when clicking continue to get to the next screen.
