Question

Turbotax refund error. Turbotax calculated 600$ refund. Actually owed 800$. What the hell?

    For what year?  2022 or last year 2021?  That is a 1,400 difference.  That could be the 3rd Stimulus payment on your 2021 return.  Check 1040 line 30.  Line 30 is only if you didn't get the full amount or qualify for more.

    Check your state tax forms too.....Any chance you are getting a $1400 refund from the state?
